Projects
My photographic projects explore the intersection of body, nature, and imagination. Working with staged scenes and collaborative processes, I create visual narratives that move between reality and dreamlike worlds.
Reshaped
I had never heard of it before. Removing body parts as a preventive measure. I knew my ovaries would have to go, but not my breasts. I was completely shocked.
Kerstin carries a mutation in the BRCA gene, which greatly increases the risk of breast and ovarian cancer, with an estimated 50–80 percent lifetime risk of developing breast cancer. After receiving the diagnosis, she chose preventive medical measures. In November 2024, she had her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed, and in January 2026, she underwent a double mastectomy. She chose not to have reconstructive surgery, allowing her chest to heal flat.
Gálgviðr
Gálgviðr is a dark, primordial forest in Jotunheim, the mythic realm of giants in Norse mythology. Here the forces of nature meet the unknown. In this threshold between worlds, imagination and reality intertwine.Through photography set in the deep Nordic forest, the human body merges with landscape, myth, and imagination.
Blood & Rust
What does the end of the world look like? Grey and silent—or loud, colourful, and strange? Every year, hundreds of people gathered at an abandoned sinter plant in Stråssa, Sweden, to step into a shared post-apocalyptic fantasy. Over ten years, I documented this world and the people who inhabit it.
Roots
Roots are a tribute to the healing power of nature. Can we find peace in nature? Less analysis. Deeper breath. What happens to us when we stand still in the forest, put our thoughts away and put our hand against an old tree trunk? These are people close to me who long to return to a simpler, less stressful life.
Uncharted
Uncharted explores the emotional landscape of a family moving through a neurodevelopmental assessment that later resulted in an autism diagnosis.
Through staged and symbolic imagery, the series reflects on uncertainty, difference, and the fragile search for belonging.
